Who we are

MyEquity is operated by WORKBYZANDER LLC ("MyEquity," "we," "us"). Our product helps home builders run projects and give homeowners a shared portal for progress, documents, warranty, and closing materials.

Information we collect

• Account data — name, email, organization name, role, and profile details.
• Project data — house addresses, plans, neighborhoods, team assignments, timelines, financial snapshots entered by builders, warranty items, and closing package materials.
• Media & files — photos, documents, and other uploads shared in a workspace.
• Usage & device data — app and site activity, basic diagnostics, and device/browser information needed for security and reliability.
• Communications — messages you send to support, and transactional emails we send about invites, sign-in, and project updates.

How we use information

• Provide and maintain the MyEquity service for builders and homeowners.
• Authenticate users and keep workspaces secure.
• Send transactional emails (invites, one-time codes, project updates).
• Provide customer support and respond to requests.
• Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and develop product quality.
• Comply with law and enforce our terms.

How we share information

Homeowner project data is visible to authorized members of the builder organization and to household members the builder or homeowner grants access. We do not sell personal information.

We use service providers (for example hosting, database, email, and analytics/support tooling) that process data only to help us run MyEquity. Those providers are bound by contracts appropriate to their role.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale with appropriate protections.

Retention

We retain project and account records for the life of an active workspace and as needed for warranty support, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. Builders can request export or deletion subject to applicable law and contractual obligations to homeowners.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we store, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and authenticated sessions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong account practices and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your choices

• Update profile details in the app or portal where available.
• Homeowners can adjust notification preferences in Settings.
• Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing team@myequity.app (or asking your builder for project-specific records).

Children

MyEquity is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International users

MyEquity is operated from the United States. If you access the service from another country, you understand that information may be processed in the United States and other locations where we or our providers operate.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice in the product or by email when appropriate.
